FAQ Add Signature

Add signatures to PDF files during post-processing. Add signatures manually or automatically to a specific area in a PDF file using tags. Add stationery on demand. Direct output to file, email, or printer.

When a visual signature is uploaded within the ‘Signature Library,’ it enables you to add this signature in three ways:

Signature sets → Enables you to place signatures in fixed positions.
String → When a string is recognized in the PDF text, the signature is placed in this spot.
Signature sets → Enables you to place signatures in fixed positions.

TAGS

Within the ‘Signature Library,’ select the signature and click on [TAGS].
Enter a tag name, e.g., Mike, then click on [Use tag name].
Example signature tag: >#>yourtag-25%
The number between and % means 25% of the size of the original image.

In this case: >#>Mike-25% will place the signature in the location where the text is found.

STRING

Within the ‘Signature Library,’ select the signature and click on [STRING].
Enter the name, e.g., Mike Mollie, in the ‘Search for text’ field.
Set the percentage for size reduction.
“Shift pixels to left” can be a positive or negative number, the same applies to shifting up and down.

Please experiment with these settings to find the correct position.
